when we get the roses off of the truck should we take the paper off of them or leave it on when we put them in the cooler

You should take the paper off but leave the plastic wrap around it.

i would like information on how to process and take care of gerberas, everyone seems to have diff opinions. do we use the straws or should we still wire? should we use food or not? should we use bleach in water or not? how to make them last long in foam?

Roses should be removed from any packaging - plastic, paper or cardboard immediately when received. The packaging can encourage rot when left on in the cooler. Learned this working for a wholesaler.
