You were always my favorite \"little\" cousin...that\'s because I was the oldest and you were (and are) such a cutie. Your creations on ubloom are fantastic and I brag about you to all my Mahjong buddies. What\'s good for silk creations in this area...close to Disneyland and Knotts. My decorator lost her person to the bad economy. My talent pales in comparison to yours...love cuz

J: It's great to address the question of pricing. No doubt a difficult question for many florists.
Several retailers I work with have prepared a pricing chart for designers that start with the selling price, deduction for labor and then the amount left for materials. These seem to be really helpful, especially when used with an up to date retail pricing chart for fresh product. It makes it easy for any designer to properly price. As a "designer for hire" I especially appreciate these charts since there are some differences according to regions, type of clientele etc. and customers need to receive consistant value.

I am a new member and I must say even though I have almost 30 years in the industry under my belt I enjoy learning all the time. This has been a great place to learn new techniques and ideas that I am already using in my shop. Thanks J.

A voice from the past. My best to Mel and Joey. You were a very young florist when I first knew you at your Grandparents Greenhouse in Nebraska when I was in Tulsa at Florafax. Thank you for using Rio Roses from Equiflor. You do great designs.

hello
How do you keep a flower( rose , orchid...) submerged under water? I have tried flower glue and a little square of oasis and they just keep floating to the top. Appreciate any ideas. REALLY enjoy your website and all I have learned fron it.
