I’m So Excited to announce the premiere of my NEW Podcast- Behind the Bloom with J Schwanke and RJ Pole. It premieres anywhere you listen to podcasts- as well as on YouTube and uBloom…I’m so excited about this new Venture with my NEW Friend RJ Pole… who is a co-host of an amazing Bird Watching Podcast- Birds of a Feather Talk Together!
This is an interesting story… As you know- We (Kelly and I) are a small company- and we create not only “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom” but also create content and maintain uBloom.com - which includes my Blog- and Kel does all the Social Media pages… and we spend lots and lots of time creating all this content… so One Day- out of the Blue- I got an email from RJ Pole… who said that he and his wife Amanda- are big fans of “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom”… I was so excited to hear that… he told me about his podcast… Birds of a Feather- and he asked me- “Why don’t you have a podcast?" - well… the answer to that is pretty simple… Kel and I don’t know how to make a podcast… for one- and for another - we have thought about it… but really didn’t have the time to dedicate to learning all the important things that go with a podcast… like producing, recording, editing, posting etc… it’s a lot!
J talks with RJ Pole- about Birdwatching- in the Upcoming Episode of “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom” in Season 8- RJ is the co-host of “Birds of a Feather Talk Together” Podcast- and also - co-host of “Behind the Bloom” Podcast - with J - starting September 1, 2025
RJ quickly responded with asking me- If I would like to create a podcast with him? And of course my reply was “YES…Please!”… I tuned into “Birds of a Feather” and I loved it… I happened to choose the “Hummingbird Episode” and learned so much… and the rest- as they say… (*and I can say now… ) Is History! I also invited RJ on “Life in Bloom” and you’ll get to meet him in Season 8… in our Episode about “Getting Outside”… and he talks about Bird Watching with me in the Life in Bloom Garden… Stay Tuned!
RJ sprung into action- he suggested that we try 2 different formats… the first are stand alone episodes- that help people enjoy flowers more… it’s about arranging, processing- handling your flowers- and our first episode is “Where can I get beautiful Flowers?”… That’s a great place to start!
The Second Format- is super exciting… these Podcasts are Companion Episodes- to each of the “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom” Episodes on Public Television… RJ- creates these episodes- with great questions and observations about each episode… I’m so enthralled and entertained about RJ’s point of view about Life in Bloom- and what he wants to know more about- and you know- I have a story to go with just about everything… so this is a “Match made in Heaven”… as they say… And we’ve got Kelly designing great graphics- and helping me develop new Topics for our Stand Alone Episodes… it’s Wonderful- and I hope that you’ll subscribe/follow- Behind the Bloom with J Schwanke and RJ Pole Here!
